Monthly Update On October 21, several members of the Board of the North American section of the International Pastoral Care Network for Social Responsibility conferred with one another by telephone and decided to take a new step in our effort to be in touch with one another, confirming our identity as a NETWORK of pastoral care-givers. That identity is especially challenged and made significant in view of the terror that presently afflicts our nation and our world. That new step will involve a monthly letter prepared by various members of our Board in which we will distribute to our members our thoughts, ideas, and actions in response to this new challenge that confronts us all. You will receive in the next several months a regular letter reflecting and sharing those ideas and experiences. You are invited to be a part of this effort through your response, by e-mail or in our network web site. We encourage you to be an active part of this communication effort. On the form that is below this letter please give us your e-mail address if you have one so that you can be an important part of this new network within a network.
